ARAG Cares

Corporate Social Responsibility at ARAG

For the past 50 years, ARAG Legal Insurance has cared about our community. We have given back, supported nonprofits and put our team members to work volunteering toward purposeful missions through the ARAG Cares program.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy includes:

Charitable Giving

ARAG focuses its charitable giving on the causes that matter most to our team members. We determine annual gifts within four giving pillars: Access to Justice, The Future of Our Youth, Strengthening Our Communities, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

Volunteer Time Off

Each ARAG team member receives 16 hours of Volunteer Time Off annually to donate sweat equity and thought leadership toward causes that they care about. Our CSR Committee also helps coordinate group volunteer initiatives throughout the year.

Employee Match

The passions of our employees matter to us so we are happy to double their impact by matching any financial contribution to a charitable organization, up to $500 annually.

For the past 50 years, ARAG has cared about our community.

We have given back, supported nonprofits and put our team members to work volunteering toward purposeful missions.

Today, we announce new charitable giving pillars to focus our efforts and align with the causes our employees are most passionate about.

ARAG Cares will now focus on:

  • Access to Justice
  • The Future of Our Youth
  • Strengthening Our Communities
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We are proud to be headquartered in Central Iowa and are dedicated to doing our part in improving our communities for future generations.

ARAG Cares. Today. Tomorrow. Always

Grant Funding

We invite 501(c)(3) nonprofits to apply for our grant opportunities.

The deadline for 2024 applications is Friday, September 27.

Work must focus on Central Iowa communities and fall within our giving pillars:

Access to Justice

The foundation of our existence. We support nonprofits that are continuing to bridge the gap in individuals' quest for justice throughout the legal system.

The Future of Our Youth

We realize that the youth are the hope for a greater tomorrow. We focus our support on organizations creating improved paths and outcomes for the children of Central Iowa.

Strengthening Our Communities

This pillar is dedicated to the basic needs of our communities: shelter, food and disaster recovery. We will also give special priority to efforts focusing on mental health.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Contributing to the advancement of equality and opportunities for marginalized communities based on race, gender, sexual orientation and ability.
